Join the Search for PLDT WatchPad Crew 2010 to win P100, 000 and more

Get ready to go from Anonymous to Famous as PLDT Watchpad centers the Search for the PLDT WatchPad Crew 2010. Start uploading your audition videos on February 22, 2010 to join the search for the Watchpad crew and be famous for the right reasons.

If you’re 16-20 years old, into web and passionate about making a difference, then you
have a chance to be part of the coolest crew in town! Just answer the question “Why should we pick you to be a part of the Watchpad crew?” in a 2-3 minute video. Fill out the application form and upload your photo and video, and you just might be one of the ten finalists! After online voting, the final five will be announced as the newest members joining the ranks of Rhian Ramos, champion drifter Alex Perez and the rest of the Watchpad crew. These five will each win a brand new notebook, 1-year subscription of myDSL, and P100, 000!

Eligibility

The search is open to all high school and college students who are:

• Male and female 16-20 years old
• Must be enrolled for school year 2010
• With good moral standing
• Articulate both in English and Filipino
• Good looking
• Net savvy, acknowledges that the Internet is an integral part of their lifestyle
• Shares a passion for music, fashion, fitness, film, technology
• Want to make a difference and is proud to represent Watchpad

Audition & Application

• Those who are on a mission to stardom should answer the question “WHY SHOULD WE PICK YOU TO BE A PART OF THE WATCHPAD CREW?” in a 2-3 minute video format and the size of the file should not be more than 10Mb.
• Accepted video formats are AVI, MOV, WMV, MP4, M4V, 3GP and FLV only.
• Once the video is produced, click on the AUDITION button above to fill up the application form and upload your photo and audition video.
• Application forms are also available in selected SM malls or partner
• establishments – clubs, coffee shops, where audition booths will be set-up for submission.

Selection

• Favorite entries or “Picks of the week” will be chosen and posted on the site. While being selected as “Pick of the Week’ does not guarantee a slot in the Final 10, they will receive special prizes.
• A select panel of judges from PLDT and Ace Saatchi & Saatchi will conduct the screening for the top ten entries from April 19-25. Announcement of the final 10 candidates will be on April 26.
• The final ten’s audition video and profile will be posted on the Watchpad website, where viewers will participate in an online poll to choose the five (5) new members of the Watchpad Crew.
• The top 5 with the most votes will automatically be the new Watchpad Crew members, and be announced on May 7. These 5 will be joining Rhian Ramos, Isabel Oli, Gino de la Pena, Viktor Aliwalas, Steph Henares and Alex Perez in a bigger and better crew.

Prizes:

Each of the 5 winners will be awarded the following:

• Php 100,000.00 in cash
• Laptop with 1 year PLDT myDSL subscription
• And a chance to be part of myDSL Watchpad’s campaign and events
